4/3/2024 0 Comments Amy's frosty freezeAs other prices were changing we were hoping to keep our admission price the same in hopes that this would increase the number of visitors or possibly encourage people to visit T&D’s more than once a summer. Since we do not have to pay a staff and prices were stable, we were able to keep our admission price very reasonable for many years. T&D’s is run by volunteers, which means we do not have the added expense of paying staff. For example, one bag of primate food has doubled in price this past year. These increases in prices have also affected what we purchase to care for the animals. *OCTOBER 21 OPEN NOON – 3:00, T&D’S TREK ‘N TREATĢ023 ADMISSION: As you are well aware, everything that you have purchased in the past few years has increased. No Umbrellas (some of the animals are afraid of them). No Smoking (smoking in the parking lot is allowed). No Throwing things at the animals or their enclosures. No Teasing the animals (which includes making noises – no growling, barking, whistling, etc.). In order to insure the safety of these rescued animals, we expect all visitors to follow these rules: (Sorry, we do not have any wheelchairs to use.)įor your safety, we will not open during thunderstorms nor do we allow umbrellas. Wheelchairs will work with a little effort. So…bring a lunch, use the picnic area, and RELAX! Closed toe walking shoes (sneakers) are preferred. We sell cold drinks and ice cream in Howls and Growls, our gift shop. We also have a picnic area that you are welcome to use. There are no hills and several benches located along the path for your use. You will be walking on a gravel/grass path throughout a mostly wooded area. We also realize that education is important and therefore, we also open for groups during the week during the late spring and summer seasons. His nickname was a play on words based on the well-known milkshake-serving restaurant of the same name. Wayne "Frosty Freeze" Frost (Decem– April 3, 2008), also known as The Freeze To Please, was an American old school hip hop b-boy known as a member of the second generation of the hip hop/ breakdancing group, Rock Steady Crew.
